Service Components

Sequence Quality Assessment - Raw sequencing reads are evaluated for base quality, read length distribution and potential contaminants. This ensures high-quality input data for downstream assembly
De novo Assembly (ONT) -Long-read sequencing data from ONT is assembled without a reference genome, generating high-contiguity genome scaffolds that capture structural variations.
Polishing with Illumina Reads – The draft ONT assembly is refined using high-accuracy Illumina short reads. This step corrects base-calling errors and improves sequence accuracy, enhancing the reliability of the genome assembly.
Quality Control of the Assembly – The assembled genome is assessed for completeness, contiguity (N50 values), and accuracy. Contamination checks and mis-assembly detection are also performed to ensure high-quality results.
Annotation of Assembly – The polished genome assembly undergoes gene prediction and functional annotation, including the identification of coding sequences (CDS), tRNAs, rRNAs, and other genomic features. This provides biological insights into the organism’s genome.
Summarizing & Reporting – A comprehensive report is generated, summarizing assembly statistics, annotation details, quality metrics, and analysis results. The report serves as a detailed record of the methodology and findings.
