Due to the strategic relocation of our Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) operations from Constance to Ebersberg, Germany, some guidelines for our sample shipments changes.

On this page you will always find up to date information of where to send your samples.

As part of our NGS business relocation, production will undergo a transition between

October 20 and 31.

Please note that samples received during this period may experience slightly extended turnaround times. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Risk Group Classification

If sending samples for extraction, it is mandatory to also fill the "Risk Group Classification" sheet. Please download the sheet, fill in your information and upload the sheet during ordering / quote acceptance:

Plates or tubes?

For Amplicon and Microbiome profiling we prefer sample shipment in plates

For all other products, plates are welcome for any project with more than 50 samples.

General shipping instructions

Tubes:

Stick barcodes on the outside of the tube and in correct order
Please sort samples by barcode and number them on the lid
Samples for extraktion need to be shiped with the Risk Group Classification sheet (see above)
Frozen barcodes tend to fall apart. Please ship in cryoboxes or other material that keeps barcodes close to the sample. Number samples on the lid.
If you use dry ice please store samples in a seperate bag or box
Please insert the order confirmation and the sample submission form into the package containing sample description, number of samples and shippers name
Stick barcodes horizontal not vertical
If possible send all samples with the same volume

No usage of parafilm or tesafilm

Plates:

Arrange samples column-wise on plate in same order as on sample sheet (no empty wells). Please leave position G12 & H12 empty
Only Eppendorf twin.tec plates can be accepted
